Winter 2026 - Free Soccer Clinic

SV North Soccer Association is excited to announce a Winter 2026 FREE SOCCER CLINIC at Dream & Believe Sports’ indoor field in Evans City.  The sessions will be led by the SV North Soccer U19 coaches. Our volunteer high school players will run the skill development stations.  The clinic will focus on developing player skills that are on the U9 teams and above.  We encourage players to bring friends that are interested in playing soccer but want introductory exposure before committing to a full season.

Who: U9+ players (bring a friend if they are interested in soccer) and coaches

When: Every Tuesday starting February 3, 2026 - March 10, 2026 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Where: Dream & Believe Sports; 432 Watters Station Road Evans City, PA 16033

Equipment needed: Cleats as long as they are clean (tennis shoes are also fine), shin guards, long socks, soccer ball, water, gloves (goalie)

Cost: FREE !!!

*Registration is strongly encouraged to gauge interest and prepare for amount of players attending.

Existing Players
Simply log in on our website and register as you would for our regular soccer programs. Existing players should see the option to register for the clinic when they log into their account.

New Players
New players can make a new, free account on our website. Once the account is created, registration will be available.

Details

First 3 weeks skills:
The first 3 weeks will focus on fundamentals geared towards coaches and the younger teams U9, U10, and U11 aged players.

Training will focus on basics:

• Player positions and movement
• Trapping, passing, dribbling
• Throw-ins, corner kicks, direct/indirect kicks
• Gameplay

Second 3 weeks skills

The second 3 weeks will build and reinforce the fundamentals from the first 3 weeks and incorporate more technical aspects of game play for all U9+ players.

Goalie Training (all 6 weeks)

Separate goalie training will take place over the entire 6 week clinic.

The training will work on developing skills such as:

• Positioning
• Directing players as a goalie
• Hand positions
• Ball distributions: Roll out, throwing, U10 build out, goal kicks

Coaches

We are encouraging current head, assistant, and prospective coaches to attend as well. Coaches will go through the stations with their team and learn the drills to continue to develop at practices. Coaches can also watch and participate in the goalie sessions to help develop goalies during the season. This is also a great opportunity for anyone interested in head or assistant coaching that are looking for a starting point.
